Translators at the Transcultura language agency in Schwabach

Our experience for your success.

For more than 20 years we have been offering a top-class and versatile translation and interpreting service in over 40 languages for business and private clients in Germany, Europe and the wider world.
Elke Trautwein founded transcultura sprachenservice in March 2000 after graduating as a state-certified translator and interpreter for French.
She began expanding the agency side of the business in 2005. Many of the business relationships she established at that time are still intact today. An increasing number of customers regularly asked us for translations into a wide range of languages and, thanks to our excellent network and industry knowledge, we were able to build up a first-class team of native speakers for various languages and areas of specialisation. All of them hand picked by us.

Our translation agency relocated in Schwabach in September 2012, and it is here that we translate and coordinate your translation and interpreting projects.

We look forward to your enquiry.

Goldnadel in Schwabach

The Gold Needle in Schwabach, in the middle of the eastern entrance to O’Brien Park.

About our location

Schwabach is a German city located in the north-west of the federal state of Bavaria and home to about 41,000 people. Its old town and the historic market square have received several awards, including the Europa Nostra Medal.
Schwabach was once the capital of European gold leaf production and is still famous for its gold beaters. The gold leaf produced in Schwabach is found not only on many buildings around the city of gold beaters, but all over the globe.
Today, the city is closely linked to the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region and is home to many medium-sized and internationally renowned companies, for example in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, laboratory technology and optics, as well as in various service sectors. We are proud to have already worked with quite a few of them.
